NUCLEAR TESTING and support of the BNTVA
As a professional researcher, and through personal interest, Ro Hancock-Child is actively collecting and collating details about the nuclear testing in the Pacific, especially Operation Grapple in the 1950s. Within the UK, the veterans of these injurious tests have still not received recognition nor compensation. Ro Hancock-Child’s partner is the son of Royal Navy serviceman Harold Geoff BEESTIN [1938 – 1997] who was harmed by being required to witness the nuclear explosions on Christmas Island. See the website The Damned for personal stories and evidence of the injuries caused to servicemen, their children and grandchildren. The Damned (mirror.co.uk)
